Why should you listen to Norwegian music?

The obvious reason for listening to Norwegian music when you’re learning Norwegian is that you’re exposing yourself more to the Norwegian language. Another reason is that there are actually many great Norwegian songs out there. While you’re learning a language, it can be tedious work to memorize words, study texts and practice grammar. Sometimes, a much better approach is to simply immerse yourself in the language as much as you possibly can.

Listening to Norwegian music is one way of immersing yourself in the Norwegian language. Another way of doing that, is for instance watching Norwegian television shows or listening to Norwegian radio.

Lastly, you can learn a lot about Norwegian culture by listening to Norwegian music. Ready to listen to Norwegian music? Let’s go!
